The title of the Best in the category Innovation, and thus a spot in the final for the best practices in 2018, selected by the audience, the commission, and the active listener, was awarded to the Droga Kolinska.
After the winner was announced, Jurij Žurej, representative of Droga Kolinska, congratulated both other projects, adding that they are very interesting and emphasized that “they are not the competition; they are our colleagues and we can cooperate.”
“Innovativeness, new ideas, and integration are virtues of companies, members of AmCham Slovenia, who participate in the Best of the Best program. We are therefore very proud that they are willing to share their knowledge and excellent energy. This increases the potential of the business environment and society. Thank you, and congratulations to all,” said Ajša Vodnik, CEO, AmCham Slovenia.
"Over 80 business practices participated in the Best of the Best project, which is a nice indication that the Slovenian business community is innovative, creative, that it cares for the wellbeing of employees, and that we know how to connect,” said Nina Marinšek, Membership and Partnership Manager, AmCham Slovenia.
Droga Kolinska: Protection of color ARGETA as a brand
In Droga Kolinska, they proved that consumers recognize the color of ARGETA as a brand, that relevant consumers associate the color with the origin of the product, that this color has as semiotic status for a specific product, that the public recognizes the color as a “mark”, and that this color has a distinctive character. The purpose and end goal of the project was the protection of the color primarily used by ARGETA (Pantone 159 C) for marketing communication for ARGETA products. Thus, they wanted to ensure an officially recognized monopoly for the usage of this specific color for products marketed in ARGETA’s market segment.
