AmCham Young Professionals
In the year of 2010 we introduced a notably successful and free of charge AmCham Young Professionals Programme meant for promising young
people – the active generation between 25 and 33 years of age – employed by the American Chamber of Commerce Members.
The Programme of work-shops, instructions, lectures and benefits helps them at their development and establishes a mixed generations “network”,
which will be of a great assistance at their work in the future.
The condition for applying for the Programme must meet the following requirement – the participants should be proposed by their leaders, managers,
who thus prove their determination in encouraging their employees, especially the young ones, and enable them to develop in a business and personal way.
A leadership potential, principles of ethics, effort for working successfully, persistence, wish for developing own personality, improvement of one´s
own competences, being an ideal among colleagues of one´s generation – all together are the qualities we are searching for in the participants.
It may be concluded that we are looking for potential business leaders.
We continue with the II Generation of AmCham Young Professionals in June 2011. This year 54 companies enrolled 92 participants.
In the I Generation there were 89 excellent perspective and creative young business leaders from 48 companies taking an active part.
Some of them convinced us with their manners and methods to our highest expectations. It is for them for whom we wish to improve our
programme with the so-called AmCham Mentor Programme which comprises an even better transfer of experiences, knowledge, views and business
practice. 35 young professionals got their mentors.
