Giving Back to the Community – Corporate Volunteering Day, June 17, 2016.

 

AmCham Slovenia is happy to announce that the project Giving Back to the Community will be organized also in 2016 with a purpose to encourage the corporate volunteering and corporate social responsibility among our members. The honorary patron of the project Giving back to the Community is H.E. Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia.

This year's fourth edition will bring a number of novelties. You will be able to carry out voluntary actions by cooperating with a range of non-governmental organizations throughout the year, depending on your agreement with the chosen organization.

One of the most important novelties is the special event called Corporate Volunteering Day, which will take place on June 17 at the Residential Treatment Institution Planina. All members of AmCham Slovenia are together warmly invited to join us together with your families.

The Residential treatment Institution (hereinafter referred to as »the institution«) provides social services in the field of education and upbringing for children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional disorders as well as those with mild intellectual disability, who are unable to attend a mainstream education. Residential Treatment Institution Planina treats the toughest cases of behavioral disorders.
